I fought it for most of my life, but I've finally accepted that I am exactly. like. my. mother. We both use vanilla coffee creamer, have brightly painted walls in our houses, share a love for photography, and have a giant weakness for Christmas decorations (I assure you, the list goes on and on...)!

Matt and I have been out of town a lot recently so I got a super late start on decorating this year. On top of that, Michael's naps have been 30 minutes at a time lately, so that doesn't leave a lot of time to do anything. I'll tell ya - I don't think I've ever moved so quickly in my life as I do during nap time! I spent 30 minutes at a time running around like a crazy person, getting our household into the Christmas spirit - and we may or may not have been short on clean laundry this week... Priorities, ha!

These are my favorite Christmas ornaments! Since birth, my mom has given me an annual Christmas ornament to commemorate something special from each year - and this is my ornament from 2016 - right after finding out we were having a baby boy!

Wrapping existing artwork is such a cheap and easy way to decorate big spaces! Guess who I got this idea from?? #likemotherlikedaughter
